Bright new talent Katie Kittermaster has just finished her A Levels, balancing studying alongside a blossoming music career - no mean feat for a 17 year-old who has just embarked on a tour supporting none other than X Factor sensation Lucy Spraggan.
This tour comes in advance of her about-to-drop debut EP, titled Coming Home at Dawn, a wonderfully cosy meditation on the trials and tribulations of someone navigating the world of romance for the first time. Its release comes just in time for the colder months, for which it will be the perfect soundtrack.
Leading single ‘Sunday Afternoon’ is one which celebrates the simplicity of a happy and healthy relationship, and it is truly a refreshing experience to hear these words coming from such a new voice on the scene.
‘T Shirt’ is a song which you may have already come across. It has won both the Commonwealth Song of the Year as well as the UK Songwriting Contest in the same year, proving just how relatable and intelligent Kittermaster’s writing style truly is.
With astute and honest lyrics and a voice as beautiful as Katie has, it’s a guarantee that her performances supporting Lucy Spraggan will gain her well-deserved fans all over the place, just in time for the release of her sparkling debut EP, out everywhere now!
