Mental Health Awareness Week has never been so important. At a time where we are all stuck indoors for the vast majority of the time, looking after ourselves has become a top priority. Giulia, star of ‘Trippin’ certainly seems to think so.

In teaming up with the mental health charity, So Happy In Town, Giulia has emphasised the importance of gratitude during these tough times. In the Instagram post accompanying a photo of her in a T-shirt bearing the provocative slogan that, “#itsoktofeelshit”, Giulia said…

“This is a very strange, scary, peculiar time in which we are living. Everyone feels scared, trapped, confused, like there’s no future… I want to start by being grateful for what I have. My health, the health of my beloved ones, my inner freedom and the blessing of being around nature right now. What I want to do is encourage you to think positive and be grateful for what you have. If you can’t find it in others, find it in yourself, you are strong and worthy of love. IT’S OK TO FEEL SHIT.”

In addition to gratitude, Giulia also suggests fresh air, exercise, and talking as a way to help cope with mental health difficulties, in a blog post which you can read here:
